- in reply to: How do I scan documents or QR codes using my iPhone?
Apple tucked the document scanner inside the Notes app, which is why many people miss it. Open Notes, start a new note, tap the camera icon, and select “Scan Documents.” The phone auto-aligns the page and enhances the scan. You can save it as PDF or share via email. For QR codes, the Camera app is enough. Point and wait—it’s instant. I use this feature all the time for signing forms and emailing them straight from my phone. - September 23, 2025 at 6:52 am
- in reply to: How can I pause sharing my location on Find My iPhone?
Use Find My > Me tab > Share My Location and switch it off. It pauses sharing globally. Or assign location sharing to another Apple device logged into your account. - September 22, 2025 at 11:42 am
- in reply to: What are the must-have apps for an iPad in 2025?
If you like tinkering: Shortcuts for automation, Scriptable for JavaScript widgets, Working Copy for Git, and Blink Shell for SSH. That combo turns the iPad into a legit dev sidekick—great for docs, quick edits, and remote server chores. - September 22, 2025 at 11:33 am
- in reply to: How can I blur photos on my iPhone?
The Photos app is enough for Portrait blur, but not selective edits. I use Fotor when I need to blur license plates or text—it’s quick and simple. Apple doesn’t yet offer a true “blur tool” for regular images, so third-party apps are your best bet. - September 22, 2025 at 3:58 am
- in reply to: How can I check mutual friends with someone on Snapchat?
When you see “Mutual Friends” on Snapchat, it’s only a count, not a list. The feature appears in Quick Add and is designed to encourage connections without spilling names. If it says “5+ mutual friends,” it means five or more people you both have added, but you won’t know exactly which. Snapchat keeps this vague intentionally for privacy reasons. So you can’t dig deeper, but you can assume that the more mutuals listed, the stronger the connection in Snapchat’s algorithm. - September 22, 2025 at 3:53 am
- in reply to: How does the Snapchat story viewer work and what can you see from it?
Every person on your viewer list saw your story—no exceptions. Snapchat doesn’t show multiple replays, only one view. The order depends partly on interactions, not just time. And don’t trust apps advertising secret viewing—they’re fake and could compromise your login. Stick to Snapchat’s built-in viewer. - September 20, 2025 at 11:48 am
- in reply to: How can I cancel my EOS Fitness membership?
EOS doesn’t make cancellation super easy. They require either an in-person cancellation at the front desk of your home club or a written request mailed to Paramount Acceptance. When I canceled, they charged me for the next month because of the 30-day notice rule. Pro tip: get a cancellation confirmation slip or email, because otherwise they can claim “no record.” If you mail it, use certified mail—that way you can prove they received your request. - September 17, 2025 at 10:30 am
- in reply to: Can You See Who Shared Your Instagram Post
If knowing sharers matters: switch to a Business/Creator account for Insights; ask followers to tag you when sharing to Stories; run a simple CTA in a post (“Tag us if you share!”). Monitor your mentions and story tags — that’s where people show themselves. Public reposts also surface on users’ feeds.
