Hi! You’re right to double-check because Valorant isn’t like most games. If you just uninstall Valorant, Riot Vanguard (the anti-cheat) often stays behind. The correct way is to go into Windows Settings → Apps & Features, find Riot Vanguard, and uninstall it first. Once Vanguard is removed, then uninstall Valorant the same way. If you try it the other way around, you’ll get an error since Valorant needs Vanguard to be installed. After both are gone, restart your computer just to clear things up. I had the same concern when I quit the game a few months ago—Vanguard was still running in the background after I thought I removed everything. Once I properly uninstalled Vanguard first, the problem was solved. So, short version: uninstall Vanguard → uninstall Valorant → restart PC. That’ll give you a clean system without lingering files.

When I first tried hiding likes, it honestly felt strange—like something was missing. But after a while, I realized I scrolled more freely and cared less about who liked what. To hide likes, just tap the three dots on your post and choose “Hide like count.” For others’ posts, head into privacy settings and adjust the toggle. It’s not permanent, so you can experiment without worry. The freedom from chasing numbers is actually kind of liberating.

Geekzilla’s Silent Hill guide is more of a narrative breakdown than a cheat sheet. Good if you want lore context, less so if you just need puzzle answers. Search their site’s gaming section.

Select the target cell ➝ Data tab ➝ Data Validation ➝ Choose “List” ➝ Enter your options or range. Done! Works on both Windows and Mac with slight layout differences. Super quick once you’ve done it once.

Hey! Purple circle means the story is a video. Red is for photos. Snapchat just uses these rings to separate content types visually.

Once deleted, Instagram DMs can’t be recovered in-app. Use “Download Your Information” in settings to see archived chats, or ask the other person. Third-party “tools” promising recovery are not trustworthy.

Hi, I’ve used the contact sync feature a few times, so here’s how it works. Open Instagram, go to your profile, then tap the three lines → Settings → Account → Contacts Syncing. Toggle it on. Instagram will then scan your phone book and suggest people who already have accounts. It doesn’t auto-follow anyone—you still choose who to follow.

As for notifications, your contacts won’t get a message saying you synced them. What they may notice is that your account shows up in their “People You May Know” section, because Instagram uses the data both ways. If you later turn syncing off, Instagram will stop updating that list and you can delete previously uploaded contacts from your settings.

I use it mainly when setting up a new account—it’s a quick way to find friends. The downside is Instagram collects that info for recommendation algorithms, so if you’re super privacy-conscious, you may not want to leave it on permanently.

You can’t truly unarchive a story. You can only re-share it from your archive or save it into a Highlight. Posts can be unarchived, stories can only be reused or pinned.
