- in reply to: How do I scan documents or QR codes using my iPhone?
Hi there! Great question because a lot of iPhone users don’t realize this feature exists. If you want to scan documents, you can use the built-in Notes app. Open a new note, tap the camera icon, and choose “Scan Documents.” Position your paper in view, and the phone will automatically detect edges, snap the scan, and let you crop it. You can scan multiple pages into one file, then save or share as a PDF. For QR codes, you don’t even need the Notes app—the standard Camera app does it. Just point the camera at the code, and a link or action will pop up at the top of the screen. I’ve used this for everything from restaurant menus to banking apps, and it works flawlessly. Once you try it, you’ll wonder why you didn’t use it earlier. Quick, simple, and no third-party apps needed! - September 23, 2025 at 8:05 am
- in reply to: Is Picuki a safe Instagram viewer and how does it work?
Picuki works only for public Instagram content. You don’t need to log in, which is why some people like it. Just remember, it’s not officially supported by Instagram, so reliability and safety aren’t guaranteed long-term. - September 22, 2025 at 11:43 am

Hello! Security basics: 1Password, Bitwarden (free), and AdGuard for Safari. Add Files + iCloud, and you’re set for safe syncing across devices. - September 22, 2025 at 4:01 am
- in reply to: How can I check mutual friends with someone on Snapchat?
On Snapchat, “Mutual Friends” is vague by design. It’ll show “X+ mutuals” in Quick Add but won’t reveal the actual identities. The idea is to spark connections while protecting privacy. The count influences suggestions—higher mutuals means you’ll see them more often. - September 20, 2025 at 11:49 am
- in reply to: How can I cancel my EOS Fitness membership?
Hey, I went through this recently so here’s the rundown. EOS Fitness usually requires you to cancel in person at your home gym or by mailing a written request to their billing company (often Paramount Acceptance). They don’t usually allow a simple online cancellation. When I canceled, I had to give a 30-day notice, meaning I got billed for one last month before it was officially terminated. If you’re mailing your request, send it certified mail with return receipt—that way you have proof they got it. Otherwise, gyms sometimes “lose” paperwork. At the gym, I signed a cancellation form, got a copy, and asked them to email me confirmation. Make sure you keep that documentation. Long story short: cancel in person if you can—it’s faster and harder for them to dispute. If mailing, always use certified mail and keep receipts. That way you won’t get stuck with surprise charges later. - September 18, 2025 at 10:23 am
- in reply to: How can I properly turn off my PS5?
Hi, I had the same issue when I first got mine. The PS5 hides its shutdown option behind a couple of button presses, so it’s not as obvious as the PS4. The simplest way with the controller is: press the PS button in the center → a little quick menu pops up at the bottom → scroll all the way to the right until you see the “Power” symbol → click it → you’ll see three choices: Rest Mode, Turn Off Console, Restart. Pick “Turn Off Console.” That fully powers it down. If you leave it in Rest Mode, the orange light glows and it still draws power, so only pick that if you want background updates or charging. If you want to skip menus, you can just hold the tiny physical power button on the PS5 itself. A short press usually puts it into Rest Mode, but hold it for about 3 seconds until you hear the second beep—then it fully shuts down. I personally prefer the controller way because it’s smoother, but either works fine. And don’t worry, you won’t damage it unless you unplug it while it’s still on. - September 17, 2025 at 10:29 am
- in reply to: Can You See Who Shared Your Instagram Post
Want to thank people? Ask them to tag you when they share, or tell followers to reshared to Stories publicly — then you’ll see it. Otherwise, Insights gives counts, not names. Privacy wins over nosiness.
