- in reply to: What does “following” actually mean on Snapchat?
I learned this the hard way when I added someone from work. I thought we were “friends,” but it turned out I was only following them. They never added me back, so I only saw their public snaps under “subscriptions.” - September 23, 2025 at 11:35 am
- in reply to: How can I pause or hide my Snapchat location from friends?
When I first figured this out, I felt relieved. I didn’t want my friends asking why I was at work late! I used Ghost Mode for a 3-hour break, and it worked perfectly. Later, I discovered that turning off location permissions in my iPhone settings also blocks updates. Ghost Mode is easier because you don’t have to keep switching permissions on and off. Plus, it’s flexible—you can pick how long you want to disappear without committing to turning it off completely. - September 23, 2025 at 3:32 am
- in reply to: What is Easy Internet Now, and is it worth signing up for?
I used EIN last year while I was between apartments. Honestly, the biggest selling point is the no contract deal. You can pause or cancel without headaches. Speeds weren’t top-tier but enough for me working remotely with video calls and occasional streaming. Compared to my Comcast service, it felt refreshing not to argue over surprise charges. But I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re a heavy gamer or streamer—latency can be spotty at times depending on your area. - September 22, 2025 at 11:11 am
- in reply to: What’s the best time to post on Instagram on Mondays?
What worked for me: Monday mornings, hands down. I post at 7:45 AM consistently, and engagement always beats other times. Try it for a few weeks, track your Insights, and see if the pattern matches your audience’s behavior. - September 22, 2025 at 6:11 am
- in reply to: Does your Snap Score increase when you receive a snap?
Snap Score rises from both sending and receiving snaps. Chats, streak icons, and opening snaps don’t count. Posting to stories sometimes adds points, but receiving snaps is a definite contributor. - September 20, 2025 at 8:53 am
- in reply to: How can I stop sharing my location without sending a notification?
You can stop sharing quietly, but people might notice if they check. iPhone shows “Location Not Available,” Snapchat lets you go Ghost Mode. Neither sends a push notification about it.
