Hey! On Snapchat, “following” is one-way. You’ll see their stories or updates, but unless they add you back, you won’t get full “friend” access.

Hi there! You’re right—unlike Android, iOS doesn’t have a direct “Clear Cache” button for individual apps. Instagram stores temporary data like images, videos, and browsing history that pile up over time. The easiest and safest way to clear this on an iPhone is by offloading or reinstalling the app. When you offload through Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Instagram → Offload App, it removes the app but keeps your account data and documents intact. Once you reinstall from the App Store, you’ll free up cached files without losing login info. If you go the full delete-and-reinstall route, you’ll just need to sign back in—your account, DMs, and saved posts remain on Instagram’s servers, not your phone. Personally, I do this every couple of months when Instagram starts hogging gigabytes. It usually clears a ton of storage and makes the app run smoother again. Just make sure you remember your password.

I had this issue for weeks! Turns out it wasn’t my phone at all—it was my account permissions. Instagram had flagged me after I posted a copyrighted clip in a Story. They didn’t ban me, but Live disappeared. After about two weeks, the option came back automatically. If you’ve never had violations, it’s probably just a bug. Clearing the cache and reinstalling usually fixes it. If not, you might just need to wait out an invisible restriction.

Snapchat includes received snaps in the score calculation. If you notice your number rising without sending, that’s why. Just don’t confuse it with chats—they’re ignored completely. It’s a participation counter: send, receive, post stories = points.
