Highlights are basically permanent folders for your stories. Go to your profile, hit the “+” in the Highlights section, and choose from your archived stories. You don’t need the story to be active anymore. Once you’ve picked, name it and edit the cover. Most people use simple icons for covers—just design or download one, then set it as the cover image. You can also add more stories to an existing Highlight whenever you want.

Check if your Snaps say “Pending” and you can’t see their Snap score. That’s unadded. If they’ve blocked you, you won’t find their username anywhere, even in search.
