If the account completely disappears for everyone, that’s a deactivation. If others can still see it but you can’t, that’s a block. The tricky part is Instagram doesn’t directly tell you which one it is.

Most research points to Sunday morning as the sweet spot, but it’s not universal. Evening hours can work too. Test both and compare engagement in Instagram Insights to find your audience’s actual behavior.

“Share Location Unavailable” isn’t unusual. It happens when iCloud isn’t syncing or your network’s flaky. The solution is usually toggling Airplane Mode, checking Find My settings, or signing back into iCloud. It’s rarely permanent—just iOS being picky.
