Hey! On Snapchat, “following” is one-way. You’ll see their stories or updates, but unless they add you back, you won’t get full “friend” access.

From my experience, 8 AM on Mondays usually gets the best engagement. People scroll as soon as they wake up or while commuting. Just avoid the mid-afternoon slump; engagement dips when folks are busy with work.

Yes, receiving snaps adds to your Snap Score. Opening doesn’t matter, just the fact you got it. Chats and streak emojis don’t count. Score rises from snaps sent, snaps received, and sometimes posting stories.
