- in reply to: What does “following” actually mean on Snapchat?
Following means you see their content but aren’t friends yet. If they add you back, the status changes to “friends.” Until then, it stays one-way, like a subscription. - September 23, 2025 at 11:36 am
- in reply to: How can I pause or hide my Snapchat location from friends?
Hey, I totally get where you’re coming from! Sometimes it’s nice to be social without literally broadcasting your every move. The easiest way is to use Ghost Mode. Open the map, tap the gear icon (top right), and switch on Ghost Mode. You can choose a time frame: 3 hours, 24 hours, or until you turn it off. That’s basically Snapchat’s “pause” option. No one gets notified when you go ghost—it just quietly hides your location. Another quick way is to toggle off Location Services in your phone’s settings. On iPhone, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Snapchat, and switch it off. On Android, it’s under Settings > Apps > Snapchat > Permissions. The catch with this method is that Snap Map won’t work at all until you switch it back. I use Ghost Mode when I’m out and don’t want people checking in, and it’s super handy. - September 23, 2025 at 3:33 am
- in reply to: What is Easy Internet Now, and is it worth signing up for?
They’re fine if you just need basic, contract-free internet. Don’t expect blazing-fast speeds, but for browsing, Zoom calls, and Netflix, it holds up. Biggest advantage: no hidden fees and no contracts tying you down. - September 22, 2025 at 11:11 am
- in reply to: What’s the best time to post on Instagram on Mondays?
Hi! I usually post around 12:30 PM on Mondays, and it works surprisingly well. People are scrolling during lunch, so engagement rates spike naturally. - September 22, 2025 at 6:10 am
- in reply to: Does your Snap Score increase when you receive a snap?
Receiving snaps counts just like sending them—it’s part of how the score grows. I tested it with two friends: one sent me 10 snaps, and my score went up by 10. So yes, it’s not one-sided, both directions matter. - September 20, 2025 at 9:28 am
- in reply to: How can I repost someone’s story on Instagram?
When I first tried reposting, I was confused too. The only built-in way is if someone tags you. That shows up in your DMs with the option to add it to your story. If you’re not tagged, you can’t natively repost. I’ve seen people just screenshot and share, but that’s a little clunky. Personally, I ask the person to tag me if I want to repost. Saves time and gives credit without looking like I stole their content.
