- in reply to: How do I connect Bluetooth headphones to a PS5?
Hi there! You’re right—the PS5 has Bluetooth, but Sony blocks most Bluetooth headphones because of latency issues. If you try connecting directly, the console often refuses or won’t let you use the mic. The simplest workaround is a Bluetooth adapter. You can plug a USB dongle into one of the PS5’s ports (front or back), pair your headphones, and you’re good to go. There are adapters made specifically for PlayStation that reduce audio delay and sometimes support mic input. Another option is using the 3.5mm headphone jack on the DualSense controller. Just grab an aux cable (or Bluetooth transmitter that connects via 3.5mm) and link it up. I personally use a small adapter that plugs into my controller, and the sound is solid. Mic doesn’t always work great on cheaper adapters, though. So yes, you can do it, but direct pairing isn’t supported—an adapter is the way to go. - September 23, 2025 at 4:13 am
- in reply to: Can you record shows and movies on YouTube TV?
Yes, YouTube TV has unlimited cloud DVR. You just add shows, movies, or even sports teams to your library, and they’ll automatically record. Recordings stick around for 9 months, so it’s way more flexible than traditional DVR. - September 22, 2025 at 10:12 am
- in reply to: How can you tell if someone screenshots your Instagram story?
Instagram doesn’t notify story screenshots. If someone saves your story with a screenshot, you won’t know. The only workaround is restricting your story visibility. Notifications only happen in DMs for disappearing photos or videos, not for regular stories. - September 22, 2025 at 6:48 am
- in reply to: How do I properly turn off my iPhone 15?
Hi! Don’t worry, you’re not alone—I had the same confusion when I first got my iPhone 15. Apple changed the way shutdown works starting with Face ID models. To power off, you need to press and hold the side button and either of the volume buttons at the same time. Hold them down until the power slider shows up on the screen. Then just swipe the “slide to power off” slider to the right, and your iPhone will shut down. If you only hold the side button, you’ll just trigger Siri, which is exactly what you noticed. Another option is to go through the settings: open Settings > General > Shut Down and the same slider will appear. That’s helpful if your buttons feel stiff or you want to avoid the combo. Either method is totally safe. Once off, press and hold the side button again until the Apple logo appears to turn it back on. - September 22, 2025 at 5:22 am
- in reply to: How does the Snap Score system actually work on Snapchat?
I tested this with a friend: we sent 20 snaps back and forth, and our scores went up by exactly 20 each. Posting to stories gave smaller increases. But chatting didn’t move the score at all. So yeah, it’s all about snaps, not texts. - September 20, 2025 at 10:01 am
- in reply to: What are the best ways to use a laptop screen extender?
Portable monitors connect via USB-C or HDMI. Clip-ons work too but cost more. If portability isn’t key, just hook your laptop to a desktop monitor—it’s cheaper and usually gives sharper resolution. - September 18, 2025 at 11:47 am
- in reply to: How can I hide my followers on Instagram?
Hi, this is a really common question, and honestly, Instagram doesn’t make it easy. As of now, there isn’t a button to flat-out “hide” your followers list from everyone. If your account is public, anyone can see who follows you and who you follow. If you switch to a private account, only the people you approve as followers can see that list. That’s the closest thing to hiding it. What some people do if they want even more privacy is curate their followers manually. You can remove certain followers without blocking them—they won’t get notified, but they’ll lose access to your followers list. Another option is to block specific accounts if you absolutely don’t want them to see. There’s no official “hide followers from followers” feature yet, though people have been requesting it for years. I’ve seen Instagram test features like “hidden likes” and “notes,” so maybe one day they’ll roll something out for followers lists too. Until then, your best bet is either switching to private or cleaning up your followers list. Not perfect, but it gives you some control. -
