Hey everyone, I’ve recently switched to using my iPhone for almost everything, and sometimes I totally forget the passwords I’ve saved for apps and websites. I know the phone saves them somewhere, but I can’t figure out where to actually look them up. Do I need to go through Safari, or is there a special section in settings? Also, are these passwords linked to iCloud Keychain so they show up on other Apple devices too, or are they just stored locally on my iPhone? I’m hoping there’s an easy way to access, copy, or even update them if I need to change one. Just trying to avoid the hassle of resetting every single password when I forget them. Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Go into Settings → Passwords. That’s the main hub for saved logins. You’ll need Face ID or passcode to access it. If iCloud Keychain is enabled, your passwords sync across Apple devices, so you’re covered on iPad or Mac too.

You’ll find them under Settings > Passwords, but you can also manage them via Safari. When you log into a new site, Safari prompts to save the password. Later, go to that Passwords section to retrieve it. They’re tied into iCloud Keychain, so you’ll see them on Mac and iPad if syncing is on. Just remember, you’ll always have to authenticate with Face ID/Touch ID before you can view them—Apple keeps that pretty locked down for security.

All saved iPhone passwords are under Settings → Passwords. They’re protected by Face ID or passcode. If you’re in iCloud Keychain, they’ll sync, so you don’t need to hunt separately on each device.

Hey! Great question because honestly, Apple doesn’t make it super obvious. On your iPhone, go to Settings > Passwords (you’ll see a little key icon). Authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode, and voilà—all your saved logins are listed there. They come from Safari or apps that you allowed to save them. If you’re using iCloud Keychain, those same passwords will sync across your other Apple devices, like iPad or Mac, as long as you’re signed in with the same Apple ID. From that list, you can search for a site, copy usernames/passwords, or even update them. iOS will also flag weak or reused passwords under “Security Recommendations.” I use this all the time because I forget random app logins constantly. One extra tip: if you need to auto-fill a password in an app, just tap the username field and you’ll see your stored logins pop up.

You don’t need a third-party app. Just check Settings > Passwords. Everything from Safari and most apps will be listed there. I like the built-in search bar—it makes finding a specific login quick, especially if you’ve got dozens stored across sites.

Hello! Just head to Settings → Passwords. That’s where Apple stores all your saved logins. Secure, synced, and way easier than resetting passwords constantly.

Apple keeps it simple—Settings > Passwords. That’s the only spot. You can copy logins, delete old ones, or check security suggestions. If you’re in Keychain, it’s all synced across devices, so once saved, you’re basically set for life unless you change them.
